About Course

Program Goal:
To prepare caregivers to safely provide direct personal care, restorative care, mobility assistance, nutritional support, elimination care, and health monitoring services in home care, assisted living, long-term care, retirement homes, and community settings

Upon successful completion of this program, learners will be able to:
1. Monitor and report vital signs accurately.
2. Create and maintain a safe and comfortable care environment.
3. Assist clients with mobility and restorative care activities.
4. Perform safe transfers and positioning techniques.
5. Provide personal hygiene and grooming care.
6. Assist clients with nutrition, hydration, and feeding.
7. Support elimination needs and catheter care.
8. Promote comfort, rest, and pain management.
9. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
10. Apply professional documentation and observation skills.

MODULE 1: HEALTH MONITORING AND VITAL SIGNS
