About Course

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Level 1 Certificate in Caregiving provides learners with the foundational knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes required to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centered care. Students will learn basic caregiving principles, communication skills, infection prevention, safety practices, ethical caregiving standards, and emergency response techniques.
The program emphasizes the five principles of caregiving:

Safety
Privacy
Dignity
Independence
Communication

Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared to provide entry-level caregiving services in homes, community settings, assisted living facilities, and supportive care environments.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
